Also from the San Remo show, here are 9 oversize promo chips from the current MGM in Las Vegas that I don't find in The Chip Rack. All are same design on both sides, and all but the tan one with oriental characters are serialized (on only one side, though). Those with expiration dates are in 1994, 95, and 96 so these are probably from the opening.
Colors are pretty good except on the last row. The 1000 with all the inserts is really hot-orange with green inserts and the last 1000 is really metallic gold. All are 48 mm in diameter.
Joe Shaw pointed out to me that some MGM promo chips have a letter on them, like the "M" on the white chip in the pic. I don't know what this signifies, do you? I've also seen a "D" and a "G".
Tough to say what value to place on these. They are cancelled, but they don't come on the market often. I would put them at the upper end of promo chips in value, though.
