First of all, I never tried to gouge anyone. I am going by the price that members of your club the CCGTCC had provided me. I recieved emails from 5 different MEMBERS that stated that they should sale for this amount.
Actually, Here is a copy of an email that I recieved:
The chips are from Searchlight, Nevada. The place was open from 1946-
1973 and burned down twice in 47 and 62. The $1 chip is worth about
$30 and the $5 is worth $130. The small town chips are not as popular
as the Las Vegas chips and therefore do not attract high value. If
they are in as good a shape as they look I would offer $150. Let me
know if you are interested.
Greg
I know absolutely nothing about chip trading. Therefore, I have no advantage over any newbie. I came to this sight to see if I could put a price on this chip. I sure hope that the NEWBIES that come here to ask questions do not plan on gathering much information from SOME of the people. There are people HERE that pride themselves on just trying to make someone look stupid.
THANKS TO EVERYONE THAT HAS HELPED ME
And to all of the ones that have some kind of complex, I AM POSITIVE THAT YOU ARE NOT A GOOD REPRESENTATIVE OF THE CCGTCC!!!!
I bet you don't have one of these!!!!
