I was at the closing of Joe Slyman's Royal in 1987. Bob was the last shooter there, also. He placed a $100 money plays bet on the Pass Line. He established a point, then SEVEN OUT!!

It was a great night. Two guys got into a fist fight in the pit. The security guard fired a gunshot into the ceiling. It worked - the guys stopped fighting long enough to be seperated. Metro arrived and cited the security guard for discharging a weapon!!

I had been in town less than 6 months but stopped by there to get chips before it closed.
