In general, the Club fosters and promotes the idea of Chapters at the present time. This is not to say that this will change, however, the Board of Directors (the Club Officers) will be meeting this week to address many Club issues to include Chapters, from the standpoint of membership affiliation with the Club.

This discussion can go in any number of directions and many of the threads (discussions) on this BBS and the Club's BBS (and also the other BBS's) have been monitored/observed by various Club Officers. In those discussions, some Club members have asked what value is a Chapter to the Club, while others fully endorse and desire Chapter affiliations.

In any event, as the Club is organized now Chapters are not restricted by meeting schedules, membership get togethers and other such aspects. As an example, the Slot Card and Room Key Chapter is very much in concert with your concept. The Anti-Slabbing Chapter is even more "virtual" than that.

Chapter formation is the responsibility of the Club's Secretary. Contact the Secretary (Belinda Hixon) at secretary@ccgtcc.com for further assistance and information. But basically, the Chapter will need a Constitution, By-Laws and Officers.
