... of thanks are do to a bunch of generous chippers. I must express my apologies to the board on not writing sooner to thank the rest of the people for sending the new member chips. I had Navy Reserves last weekend (not all of us who work or have worked in Naval Intelligence have dubious ethics, I assure you! ), then I was traveling for work and the Internet connection was frustratingly slow. Then I got home, and in my hastiness to open the many packages that had arrived, inadvertently mixed some of the chips together, and had to write some e-mails to the generous donators, so I could give proper chip attribution. Then my dog ate my homework, my hair caught on fire, and just about any other lame@$$ excuse for why I haven’t posted on the chipboard before today.
Anyway, a big thanks go out to the following for their generous contributions to my growing collection:
Jill Bitner – Harrah’s Marina Roulette (I hope I got that one correct; I inadvertently mixed some of my chips together, and lost track of who gave me what)
Archie Black – Condado Beach $100 Chip.
Richard Fellman – “Funky H,WW” chip .
Charles Fisher – Tuscany Chip
Barry Hauptman, Phyllis Sgagnola, Robert Touts – Tuscany Chip, Castaways Chip, Palms Roulette
Pedro Isayama – Derby Gran Casino
John Massimiani – St. Tropez Casino chip
Debbie Meister – Mahoney’s Nugget and her own proprietary Halloween chip
Rick Miner – J&S Card room chip
Terry Shaffer – MGM Grand Detroit Chip
‘Silverman’ – Spa Resort/Agua Caliente Chip
Greg Sousong – Hyatt Regency Aruba chip
A.J. Whiting – Harrah’s chip and slot cards.
Will and Murph (2Chippers.com guys) – Golden Moon chip, and slot cards
Again, thanks to the kind generosity of all of the above contributors, as well as the ones that I have previously mentioned on this board. I tried pulling up the original list of contributors to verify that I had thanked everyone, but could not get messages that old off the chipboard search function. Thus, I apologise to anyone that I may have inadvertently missed. I tried to keep the chips with the envelopes they came in (at least after the first couple I opened, which did cause me some difficulty on a couple of chips) so hopefully I got everyone. I look forward to participating in this promotion (on the giving end, rather than the receiving) again next year.
Happy Chipping!
