I don't find it all that intersting that actors in the 40s were proud to fight for their country. At that time therre was somethign worth fighting for other than lining the pocket of the President and Vice President's oil buddies and searching for non-existent weapons. It's not that the actors of that generation were more patriotic, it's that the cause was more worthwhile.
