Finding casino postcards is just another one to add to the list of jumbled and lost in the morass.

I know the searches and tips people have posted are valid and good, I've been working it from the other direction. Rather than read 1,000 auctions for casino chips (assuming they would all be just casino chips and none of the junk) it is still too many results.

I only search for specific chips that I want... example "Wisconsin Casino" or "Elko Casino" Usually that will eliminate things down to under 40 listings each.

What I'm suggesting is that limiting the search to chips you actually want for your collection, you can get some very interesting results. I don't know about wading through 1,000 good hits, even if I miss a "real deal".

I just found a chip I wanted from Wisconsin, by searching for "Jenna Casino" even though it was listed as a salesman sample. (which it isn't)

The way I found a chip from a specific casino was searching for part of the name, and no it didn't come up as Elko Casino because the listed for some reason had it listed as only Elko without NV or Nevada or CASINO. Maybe the seller didn't really want to sell the chip for top dollar?

People should think about listing their chips with the words "casino chip" and the location, city and state in the description. Full name of the casino or marking on the chip. More people will find the auction.

For those folks who do the huge searches, take a look at how many chips don't have the state and city in the auction, or might have an item listed as "poker chip".

Just like we try to search for chips and hope to find something that fits, sellers should have a full description if they want their auction to be found!
