There isnt just one. There isnt a best. It all depends on what you are collecting.

Here's the books I think people shoulod start with:

Nevada: TCR (The Chip Rack) New 10th edition will be out the in May.

Riverboats: Greg Susong's Riverboat Chip Priceguide

Atlantic City: Black's Guide to Atlanyic City Chips.

Misc: Official Guide to Casino Chips (out dated, but I hear Jim Campaglia is working on a new edition to release

As a serious chipper, you must have "The Gaming Table" This book lists all the casinos in the world past and present that have had chips. Its an invaluable resource.

Personally, I also use seperate additional priceguides for Colorado, California, Illegal Chips, Antique chips, Montana chips, Playboy chips and Washington chips. There are additional priceguides out there, some up to date, and some that need revising and newer editions.
