Terry,
I was overbooked at Harrah's in A.C. once and they had to send me to a local hotel. Before I left the reservation counter I asked to talk to a Cssino Host. After having a pleasant conversation with the host and stating my feelings about the overbook situation. It was resolved as follows:
1. I got a $40.00 food comp
2. I got a free room for 2 nights (Saturday and Sunday) of my choice.
3. I got two free show tickets.
About two weeks later in used the above comps and my wife and I enjoyed a nice weekend in Atlantic City.
By the way, on the return visit I asked the Host why she treated me the way she had (being very generous). She said "You were very understanding over an unfortunate incident and I wanted to do everything I could to make you happy." I stay at Harrah's all over the Country and they always treat me very well.
P.S. I haven't forgotten about the roulette card I owe you. When I locate it I will send it off to you.
Jerry
