How about this one...

I bid on one of those antique looking coin banks with a price that I thought was fair. Then found out that the dealer had it listed in another auction for a BUY IT NOW price of a couple dollars LESS. I was upset with myself for not doing more research. But lo and behold someone came along and outbid me.

WHEW!
