The Las Vegas Sun newspaper is now reporting that the Nevada Gaming Control Board has sign an emergency order suspending the gaming license of Binion's Horseshoe in Las Vegas. So it appears that all hope that this historic Las Vegas landmark would have a quick reopening has been dashed. The only repreve that I can see for the Horseshoe is if Jack Binion takes those millions (sic Billions?) of dollars he got from selling his Louisiana and Mississippi casinos and buying out his sister Becky and her husband.
