on a day like yesterday. We started out at 7:30 AM form Northeast Ohio and headed out to Seneca Niagra Casino. One hell of a snowstorm let me tell you!

Poor visibility and treacherous road conditions from here up to Buffalo. Must have seen 30 tractor trailors wiped out as well as many passenger cars and even a state trooper car up to it's windshield in a huge drift.

Only 20 people on the bus ( nice to to know at least 19 other people on the planet are as dumb as me. Stessfull for sure, but hey, as soon as we reached Buffalo the roads were clear and we then had clear sailing up to Seneca Casino.

Played from noon till 4:00 PM. Bus ride was $25, but we got $10 back in cash at the redemption window, and a $15 credit for the buffet. That is we had a free buffet, pretty good buffet at that.

Best part is we played roulette and did pretty well, then went over and found a spot at a one of the four craps tables that were open. Got there just as an older fella was making a come out throw. 35 minutes later he was still throwing the dice, and I was up $800. So the first hour at the casino and I had $910.00 of their money and headed over to a really nice buffet. Next couple of hours were up and down, but I managed to leave on the bus with about $750 of the casino's money while my partner Mark had just about the same in his pocket.

Turned out to be a great trip and a nice break in the work week. This was my second trip to Seneca since it opened last year. Once again it was clean and very open, lot's of room to move around without clutter. Very friendly staff. Smiling, cheerfull, polite and helpfull.

Sure aint Vegas, but if was a good fix till we get out to sin city in April.
