Pretty frustrating, Isn't It. I went thru the same thing with the phony Frank Sinatra Cal-Neva ashtrays.
While Ebay, of course, can't vouch for all items listed authenticity, they should listen when damaging evidence is available to label an auction as tainted goods. In the case of the chip they should respect the judgement of the club and take action.
They will suspend sellers for other piddly *ss reasons, but something as serious as misrepresentation they stand moot.
I recently listed a Joe DiMaggio ashtray and put a link in the ad for people to read more about the restaurant. I got a snotty letter and threatened with suspension if I ever again committed this heinous crime.
Go figure!!
