On reading the title of the thread here, I had honestly hoped that "Vic Galante Complaint Resolved" might possibly include Vic Galante actually realizing the error of his ways and making good on one of his shady deals. I'm sorry to see it end with sanctions against Vic regarding his membership in the Deep South club, but your perseverence and principles are appreciated by others like me who were victims of his petty schemes.

As I've said before, this disclaimer applies: I'm not a professional psychologist, nor am I qualified to make psychological assessments with any degree of certainty, but it's clear that something ain't right with this boy. I had speculated that he might be a "degenerate gambler" who lost everything and is now trying to make it up starting with a series of minor gouging and weaseling (I was out about $15, when he charged $16.65 shipping for 9 casino chips). That may or may not be true, but it seems that Vic is completely unable to understand his responsibility for fair trading and/or selling, having some sort of a cognitive dissonance against any idea that he could possibly be overstepping the bounds of integrity by a wide margin.

I don't mean to "dogpile" here, but there was a short while a month or two ago when I wondered whether this was the rule, or the exception, among chip collectors. Other collectors such as Don Logerwell, Dave Feavel, Ellen Springer, Archie Black, and quite a few honest, friendly eBay dealers convinced me that Vic was clearly a very bizarre exception.
