albeit for a different reason than you stated. You wrote "some folks" don't think that local BOD's are capable of handling ethical issues. Your opinion is 180 degrees out from the heart of my post. My post leaned more on the side of the problem of Chapter members not being members of CC>CC, not the issue of $6.00 worth of crappy chips added to the RR by a non-CC>CC Chapter member who refused to make amends. My problem lies with the Club not being able to mediate a resolution or take ANY action against the aggrieving party. I have a serious problem with non-CC>CC members thriving under the Club's umbrella! It's great that the Chapter will take some action. I support their action to dismiss him 100%.
This case bolsters my opposition to Chapter members not having to be members of CC>CC--IT SHOULDN'T BE! The Club should have control over ALL who ride the CC>CC train.
