PayPal is the most convenient way of sending and receiving money
I have been a preimier member for about 3 years.
You can only send /receive Cash from PayPal’s Free acount. If you link your bank account, it takes up to 3 business days to get money into the account.
They do have a $ limit on free accounts. When I joined it was $1,000 per month but now it’s $2,000. This seem to be high enough but I found out that I can pay bills (for free) from my PayPal account and quickly out spent the limit, paying my CitiCard and other bills. So, they sent me a notice that I had to upgrade my Free account to Premier.
I don’t regret it since by then I felt comfortable enough to link my bank account.
Bank transfers are free. (both ways) If you want a check mailed to you they charge $1.50.
All considered, I enjoy the convenience of PayPal.
