....and I looked, and I LOOKED, and I LoOkEd 'til I was going cross-eyed.....
1945 (most numbers were 4 digits, but a few were listed as RENO 2-xxxx)

1963 (even though most of the phone numbers were 7 digits by then...a few were still 2 letters & 5 digits, so I looked....)
In the white pages: No matching numbers under Rancho. Guy's Rancho Bar at 140 Airport Road was 2-2571 (1955 book).
In the yellow pages.....
I got the brilliant idea that maybe the place had changed names/ownership, but kept the same phone number. I LOOOOOOOKED for "6931" as the last 4 digits of any phone numbers listed for:
Motels Motor Courts
Hotels
Beer Parlors
Clubs
Cocktail Lounges
Boarding Houses
Night Clubs
nada. zilch. zippo. bupkus. :(
Closest number was Colbrandt's Flamingo....which started as 3931, and
later was Reno 3-3931.
