Not really Jim, but one can't be too Careful. I believe the biggest mistake all the candidates are making is the extreme bashing of President Bush--the hatred being spewed sounds so mean spirited that no one with reasonable thoughts could possibly back any one of them.
To date, it looks as if President Bush will win the electorial votes once again but by even a larger margin even if he might somehow lose the popular vote.
If I really had to choose between any of the Democratic runners, I would be more concerned with Lieberman winning the nomination as I think he would be the more difficult to beat with Gephardt second then Kerry. Edwards is very attractive but is in too much of a hurry--should consider filling out his first term of office first.
In any case, I'm not that concerned at this point. With all the negatives against the president, I still believe him to be our best choice for leading this great country at this time of crisis.
Hopefully this middle East crisis will end before Hillery runs in '08. She's the one I'm really concerned about. If we have to have a women president in my lifetime, I hope maybe C. Rice, the National Security advisor will be the alternative.
