we installed version 9.0 and it crashed our email start up - talked with AOL technical services and after a few minutes of him trying to fix it (and could not) he said it was our modem and hung up on us. So I went to programs, still had version 8.0 clicked on it and behold we were back on board - THREW OUT 9.0 AND UPGRADED TO 8.0 PLUS WHICH WE GOT FROM U.S.P.S, WILL NEVER UPGRADE AOL AGAIN UNTIL SOMEONE CAN TELL ME THERE WILL NOT BE ANY PROBLEMS .
