() I publicly and immediately apologized to both for what I said. For jay though this goes much deeper than I could have possibly imagined.
As Jay helps me to recall by his Email;
Yes, I do remember you Mr. Trentacost... belittling "Hollywood" because they (WE) don't fit with your ideals. And others. I and others remember your little mindless diatribe only too well.
As for who I think I am, I'm a well-respected member of the chipping community, thank you very much... something you will only aspire to from the looks of it. Me, a loser... I don't think so. Here's a clue, moron... you don't have to sit in front of a computer to know that your posts were 4 hours apart... the time of the posts are right there on the board. As it happened, I spent a grand total of about 10 minutes on the board today and, although I had no intention of posting at all, I found your auction advertisements so ludicrous and greed-ridden I couldn't help myself. As I said, I found your absolute disregard for the intentions and principles of the board so heinous that I had to post. I received e-mail kudos from no less than 15 other board readers too, for your information.
So, Mr. Trentacost, just keep it up. You crawl out of your greed-ridden hole and keep posting to advertise for your piddling auctions. Have a great life, tiny as I'm sure it is.
I apologize again to anybody I offended with my conservative views. I had no idea that Jay Sands is a hollywood big wig who I offended.
Just from my point of view. I lost 2 friends that i grew up with and played baseball with in the twin towers. They both had kids and one actually was able to call his wife with just enough time to let her know where the life insurance policy was. It is hard for me to listen to people talk so lightly about the threat of terror attacks and how nobody is a threat. I am sorry I have a view that if someone wants to kill you it would be better to actively defend yourself.
My last word is this;
I apologize to Jay for the personal attacks. They were a childish response to a post in which I felt I was attacked. Now I understand why you singled me out and not the countless others that were on the board advertising. I also apologize for offending you with my previous post which i cant even remember. I'll take you word for what I said in it. Like a knowledgable and Gentleman Robert touts once told me...Don't be so thin skinned, Jay. I didnt mean to offend you truly. And to your 12 friends...I am sorry to them too. I'll promise that I will never ever say anything political again on the chipboard and you promise to not call me greedy because it makes me feel bad... Oh yes and abusive too. Please dont call me abusive cause I mean no harm to anyone!
