FYI, I responded to Mr. Trentacost in kind in a private e-mail, since I don't believe this kind of language is appropriate on the board. I will, however make a couple of comments here:

1) I am in no way against the advertising of auctions or trades here. Far from it, I find most of the postings very interesting. When you've posted a SECOND TIME within 4 hours of listing your auctions, however, I feel you've gone over the line and are abusing the board.

2) Another thing that lit me up was the author. I remember Mr. Trentacost as a profound thinker...

I felt personally attacked on several levels by his post. I "attacked" his advertising practices... he attacked my politics and my profession without a second thought.
