Jeff Laudemans dice books are the only dice guides available. One is for LasVegas and the other for Reno/Tahoe. We unfortunetly lost him before he finished the small town nevada book. There is at least one person selling his books.
As far as stopping the dice... Yes it is now too late. You are forever infected and the only treatment is a constant influx of dice.
