I wouldn't visit the Tropicana for ANYTHING, even if they were giving it away. They don't seem to like chip collectors! Now they occasionally will make Limited Edition chips that one would think are intended for the chip collectors to purchase, but based on my experience this last summer, they just made the chips for the employees and to tease the rest of the collectors.

Consider staying at the Trump Marina or Trump Plaza. Both seem to be nice properties. One is on the boardwalk and the other over by the Marina and next door to the new Borgata.
