Hardly anything. The point is well taken. So why not just sell the chip at face plus actual expenses and do the other hobbyist a favor by letting them get the chip cheaply.

After all, how many chips are you going to have to sell and at what price in order for you to actually make enough money to make it worth your while to put in all that effort?

Say you sell 10 different chips making an real $2.00 profit on each chip (total $20.00.) Is it really worth all that time and effort to list the chip on ebay, correspond and package it ready for mailing. Admit to the fact you do it for the enjoyment--not the few extra dollars you might eventually pocket. So why not just be a good guy and sell the excess chips for face plus actual postage and let it go at that.

In order for you to really make a decent profit, you are going to have to live in LV, or possibly AC and start a new chip service.

That is exactly true and is exactly what I do when I sell a good chips--my profit is already built into the asking price. I don't believe in trying to extract an extra $2.00 or so by inserting another shipping charge.

Understand by lowering ones profit margin, the make more money will be made overall due to the increase volume of sells. Just ask Wal-Mart.
