Deception is always wrong....but to call an honest eBay seller a crook just because something that he listed at a fair price closes for more than it's worth is also wrong. When a person describes a chip without exaggerating and provides a clear scan of both sides, HIS responsibility to that auction is over. It's the responsibility of all of us, in everything we purchase, to compare prices and to find our best deal.
That was my Siegfried & Roy chip that sold for $36 even though I listed it at $9.99 and there were several others listed that same week. I think a current edition of the Chip Rack is the best $35 a collector can spend.....however, I doubt that many would email the high bidder at the close of an auction and refuse to sell at over book value <G>
