Thanks Archie for the nice comments about my book. I'm responding to answer a few questions that some token collectors may have. The book does not have the current value's of the tokens. I've always said that the going value of anything should be between the buyer and the seller. For me, putting a value on 12,000 tokens from around the world, every six months would be a laugh. The book is way too expansive to even try that. The book is an ongoing list of every gaming token known to exist. It includes the following information ; The name as it shows on the token, The address, city, state or country, the date it came out, the mint mark, the type of metal used, the type of rim,( reeded, partial reeded or plain edged ). if its medal aligned or coin aligned, what side the mint mark is on, and a section for misc information. If it's from Nevada, the date that the Gaming Commission approved it for use, and the route company that handles the slot machines that used that token. The book is divided into four sections, Silver Strikes, No Cash Values, regular Slot Machine play tokens and Cruise Ships and Ocean Liners. Thanks to the information supplied by other collectors, the book grows by about 1,000 new entries every year. That's why it has to be republished every six months. The next issue comes out in January. The book costs $35.00 and that includes Priority Postage. I hope that this answers your questions. If not reach me at cmdonley@thegrid.net . THANKS !
