This year's contest saw the issuance of a "Super Bowl" chip from Circus Circus, Las Vegas. Lickity split they were "recalled". The cage stopped selling them and any that made it to the tables were pulled.

Supposedly the use of the name was not approved by the NFL.

If I recall correctly several hundred of these were released. I do not know if the remainder were destroyed or if they are a "hord in-waiting".
