Wow, I didn't think my post about hotel pricing would be such a cause for consternation.

I just heard from my Mom and Elvis (Pete) that Elvis is insisting I stay with them when I come out there. So now it looks like I'm not even going to be staying in Vegas, but Henderson.

My concern about prices was before I found out that Elvis had room for me at his place, as I'm planning on arriving on the 14th and leaving on the 21st.

Since I'll be saving on the other dates I'm there, I would like to spend the convention dates at the Riv...(1)To support the club...and (2)To actually say that I stayed on The Strip for the 1st time!

Let's go back to the support the club thing for a moment. Some of the posts in this thread were really very negative. Comments about CHEAP members, raising the fees so the Cheap people have to pay for more things. For one, I'm a hell of allot farther from Vegas than most of you are, so yeah, I want to save money. And for another thing, I havn't even been a member for a year yet, but I set myself up a stock purchase and selling plan to help support the Building Fund. So don't tell me I'm CHEAP because I want to save money on my Hotel room.

Besides, the money I save will most likely be spent on most of YOUR* selling tables!
