Re: Linen Post Card-Last Frontier 1951

Terry,
Is it a Curt-Teich postcard? If it is, there's a date code on the card (often in the lower right hand corner on the front, sometimes other places...including the stamp box!)

For Curt-Teich cards, every card had a number and the first 2 digits are the date code. A letter that indicates the decade, and a number that indicates the year...

A=1930's
B=1940's
C=1950's
D=1960's

So a code that starts 1C would indicate that the card is from 1951, 4A would be 1934, 0B would be 1940, etc. grin Someone posted this information to the Chipboard a year or two ago, and it's helped me A LOT! Hopefully it will help you. grin
