I've used nothing but Western Digital drives for the past 10 years. I've never had a failure. My PC is always on, except when I'm traveling, so probably put 9000 hours or so of use on them a year. Can't speak to any new models that have come out in the last 2-3 years, but they have always had a good product, in my opinion.
