OK, I got that part, what after all this time I still can't grasp is;

Why doesn't his/her lower bids appear like the others, and just appears as if he/she only bid once right at the end, even though the bid was placed four days prior!

Shouldn't their lower bids, below mine be there so as to show up as a sequence of bidding culminating in the bid that exceeded mine by $5!????
