Amusing fable... but I always want to add that in order to restart the car when it stops for no known reason, you would have to roll down the window, hold one hand on the antenna, one on the wheel and press the horn button. (as in ctl-alt-delete)

If you owned a Compact car (sound like a computer Mfg.?) your sparks plugs, gasoline and tires would only come from that car maker.

Your version of the rules of the road would be standardized, but the company that made the highway would add features that their car could use and you couldn't.

Kids with a mome-made key could get into you car and drive it, because the locks don't work right.
