It's not penny pinching but substantial savings. By doing this we can create a better magazine, add color and try to keep the page count between 116 and 128 pages.

The other reason we need to save money is that advertising has bottomed out. Although the advertising does not pay for the magazine, every little bit helps - the magazine is not cheap to produce. We lose a lot of money each issue.

As far as replacing a magazine, if it arrived in really bad shape let me know and i'll replace it. Normal wear and tear doesn't count. Some of the magazines I received in an envelope arrived bent or creased, This is the post offices doing.
