After blowing his career & losing millions of dollars he decided that a good idea would be to move here to Las Vegas of all places! The last time I saw him a few years ago he was trying to borrow money from my friend Geno who owns the Rum Runner Bars here in Las Vegas. Geno & I were playing pool & Art walked up & asked Geno for $500. Gene set his cue on the table & walked into the office. When he came out he had a check in his hand & asked Art when he was going to make good on it. Art STILL tried to get money out of Geno, but of course he did not. I think Geno ended up framing the check & putting it on the office wall. It's too bad because Art had a lot of talent. He just could not get away from betting the games.
