Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm assuming it should be his responsibility to locate the chips since he sent you a check with an old address. After all, he did admit to that - so why should you be held accountable for another round of chips?

Had the check contained the address he wanted them shipped to, then I would feel a responsibility to send more chips.
