Insurance is to protect the seller not the buyer. So really it should be the sellers responsibility to pay for it. However, it has came around to be a fee that buyers pays on Ebay. In view of that, regardless of who pays it, and lots of times I just pay it myself, if it isn't paid one way or another, I am not going to be responsible for it.

It is my responsibility to deliver, but by virtue of truck wrecks, train wrecks, carrying US mail and UPS stuff, I am not going to be responsible for that stuff. When trains wreck carrying parcels and mail, they usually just shove it off to the side and bury it and pay the claims.
