I saw Neil Diamond, Dave Brubeck, and the Young Rascals at different Spring Weekend concerts while a freshman at Niagara U. A cousin and I actually bought tickets to Woodstock, but we never went. The tickets are long lost.
Don "Miss American Pie" McLean at Cafe Lena, in Saratoga, NY, before the song became a hit, was a lot of fun. And, we saw the group, The Sundowners, who earlier opened the infamous Jimi Hendrix/Monkees concert at MSG.
