The emails started arriving this morning,
"Jill... are you NUTS?"
Ok... ya'll know I've been busy...
And ya'll know I bought a new house this summer and have been spending money faster than the US mint can print it
And some of you know that my long-time employer is now my "ex-employer" and that I recently took a new job for less money
What I haven't said much about is that my former employer ran out of money and I'm out thousands (about $6000 I'd say with the last round of recent bills that arrived that were in my name ) in wages and unreimbursed expenses.
I knew some of you would be shocked when you saw my AC Bud Jones roulettes on Ebay. I got several emails... asking, "ARE YOU NUTS? WHY???????"
ok... I'll tell you.
I need $5000 (maybe $10,000) - and I need it now (like this week. And I need it "together" so I have banked my next 6 house payments. It's the only way I see to manage on my new salary without going crazy. The good news is my new boss and I negotiated a fair, but progressive wage agreement when I started... and in fact, I get my first wage increase tomorrow Competition for decent jobs in this area is fierce - and my new boss - like most businesses in the area - have the luxury of demanding "proof (of competency) before payment". His last girl only lasted a week. She was fired because she did not pass the background check... but from what I saw - she might just be "too stupid" to work
Anyway - I pulled 1000 Nevada chips this weekend thinking I'd sell them. But yikes! The time, work and fees (if I sold them on Ebay) involved in selling 1000 chips isn't worth the effort or the return. It is INSANE for me to generate $5000 in 1000 x $5 transactions when deep down, I know I can do it in 5 x $1000 transactions. But of course... the chips I have that fall into the $500 - $2000 range are my Harrah's
Check my website for prices on high-end, rare Harrah's obsoletes... some prices are negotiable.

I also have some Harrah's Marina roulettes I'd sell... a set of nautical theme Paulson's (63 chips) and the obsolete Chipcos (96 chips in that set?? something like that...) plus 1000's of Nevada and Arizona chips.
The chips in the scan below are chips that are either on EBay now... or will be - unless someone expresses an interest in them before I get them listed.
Thanks to all those who have helped - I made two sales already, generating my first $1000.
That's $1000 down - $4000 (or $9000) to go...
Happy shopping!
