"NEW" RENO CHIP FIND JUST RECORDED

Though there is not enough time for me to debut these chips at Howdy's Dig this weekend (I'll do so at the Biloxi show next weekend), along with sharing the find with you, this will have to do for now.

I just reported this chip to Dr. Allan Myers, "The Chip Rack," and it's now recorded.

Though I don't have a scan of this un-denominated chip, I'll direct you to where you may see the series in which it was used during 1973-74....(factual).

Club: ELDORADO CLUB
Location: RENO, NEVADA
Circa: 1973 -
Mold: LARGE GREEK KEY
Color: BRICK-RED
Inlay: GOLD HOT STAMP
Inlay description:

-ELDORADO CLUB-

RENO, NEV.

You may also see photos of chips from this series on page 125 of: "A Collectors Guide To Nevada Gaming Checks & Chips" by Howard and Kregg Herz - numbers 31238.0 and 31239.0

There are only 42 "slightly used" pieces (Selection: A) having a "BRIGHT, FULL-BLOWN" hot stamp on both sides and 39 "used" pieces (Selection: B) having a bright, full hot stamp on one side with a partially rubbed-away hot stamp on the other side.

ALL of the chips are square edge and are able to stand on their edge, freely. "A NICE CHIP."

I'm only able to accomodate with one chip each, please, and that's only because of the Biloxi show next weekend....and, I may need to terminate this offer without notice. E-mail or phone/fax orders only, please.

Thanks,

CURRENT PRICES:

Selection A: $22.00 + $1.55 postage

Selection B: $17.00 + $1.55 postage

The above prices reflect "TCR" values of the low-denominations from this 1970s series.
