A twin Q is an "exotic" bet at a racetrack or a fronton (the place they play Jai Alai)( A game played with a ball & sesta similar to handball)(A sesta is elongated staw-like glove to catch & throw the pelota)(pelota is a ball in Spanish). OK, now! A quinela is where you choose 2 horses, dogs, players to win & place. Unlike an exacta or perfecta, the order of finish of the 2 horses, dogs or players you picked does not have to be exact or perfect, thus the name of those bets. For example, lets say you bet a quinela & take the 1 & 2. The 2 wins & the 1 places, YOU WIN! You win the other way around as well. If you played the exacta or the perfecta, you MUST pick the exact or perfect order of finish. The Twin Q is where you have to pick 2 quinelas in a row. If you need any information about a trifecta, pick 4, daily double, or simply win, place & show, I would be more than happy to provide a simple explanation.
