I used to work with a guy that could be a space cadet at times. He was into RC planes, and one weekend he was off in the hills with a group of RCers. One of the planes went out of control and crashed.

After some time had passed a man came over to my coworker (Chuck), picked up Chuck's plane, and said, "You'll get this back when you pay for my plane." Chuck had not verified which frequencies were in use by others.
