I collected coins on and off, but never seriously. What I have been all my life though is a hobbyist. I have ALWAYS had a hobby of some kind or another that I was passionate about.

During my hippie years it was macrame and sand candles. (Ok, quit laughing, that was a LONG time ago. ) Then photography, motorcycles, fishing, writing computer software, radio controlled aircraft, gambling and finally chips. Chips and RC Aircraft have been the two biggest hobbies I've ever been involved in.
