Since chips are not minted (as coins are) there is no such thing as a "mint condition chip" in my opinion.
This was one of the arguments against the slabbers who were attempting to assign MS (Mint State) grades MS66, MS67, MS68, MS69, MS70, on slabbed chips like they do on coins, with MS 70 being perfect.
Can you imagine the confusion of five different grades of uncirculated Mint State grades of chips if they were successful in their quest?
