Several years ago I asked Bob to pick up several $25 chips from casinos that were local to him in Colorado. Which he did at face value plus postage. I never received the package. After a month, Bob filed a claim with the USPS, it was insured. And he went back to the casinos a 2nd time for me and sent me a 2nd set of chips. I got the 2nd set of chips with no problem. Several weeks later I got a "2nd notice of delivery of an insured package" card in the mail. Funny thing was I was home at the time and I caught up with the mail man and he swore that he did not put in my mailbox. I then went to the post office and asked for the package. When I saw that it was the 1st package that Bob send, postmarked 2 months earlier, I refused delivery so that it could be returned to Bob. Bob never hesitated in believing me or making good on the failed delivery, not making me wait for the USPS to settle the claim. As Bob said, that is what chipping is all about. Boy, did I have a choice word or two for my local postmaster. It seems that the local post office somehow "lost" the package for 2 months. And Bob, thanks again.
