...had to have been at least 6, maybe 7 years ago, I sent Rich Figarotta a silver strike. He`hadn't received it after three weeks. I didn't have a duplicate to send him (this wasn't a trade, it was a sale) but I did have another strike that was an acceptable replacement, so I sent it to him. The two packages arrived at his home within a day or two of each other. I had not met Rich in person prior to this exchange, so we were both working solely on trust. I told him to send me $10 for the second strike, as I was relieved that both packages made their way to his mailbox. His appreciation for my trusting him when he emailed me that he hadn't received the first strike was rewarded with him paying for the second strike that I sent with 5 obsolete $1 chips and 2 $2.50 obsolete chips.
That's what this hobby is really about to me...
