Just about any chip can have these variations. It appears Paulson used both molds for making many chips. Maybe a note that both exist is enough, since it doesn't appear to be a rarity situation.

Example, I have gone through hundreds of the Red Lion HS lion's head chips and found only 5 that had the LCV mold. Does anyone care?

I have a bunch of WI chips that came both ways. I collect WI. I collect both varieties, but in general, does it make a difference in value for any chip from anywhere?

If it does, I need to start paying better attention to H&C canes.
