I was reading transcripts of an interview of Lewis J "Chili" McWillie, conducted by the US House of Representatives, investigating the JFK assassination. McWillie had ties to Jack Ruby. Ruby owned the Las Vegas Club, in Dallas, but McWillie didn't think any gaming activity went on there. And Ruby didn't gamble, pretty tight with the buck he said. McWillie told of his involvement in the Top O The Hill Terrace, and the Four Deuces in Ft Worth. And mentions Fred Browning, and a Red Scarborough as an associate of Brownings. So, maybe that would further tie these chips to the Top o the Hill.
McWillie also tells of his days as a dealer in pre-Castro Cuba, Haiti, Aruba. He left Fort Worth for Las Vegas before the JFK assassination. He mentions were he worked in LV, and when he heard Ruby shot Oswald, he told his wife they would be getting a visit from the FBI. Sure enough, the FBI came to him 3 days later.
