I had the same problem today. I have Windows XP home and the link below will take you to the patch from Microsoft to fix the problem.
Problem was I had the problem come up again and again while I was trying to download the patch. I happed to have an evaluation copy of Mcafee firewall on my computer and I had to install it so I could download the patch.
