Gene ----- this was a fine post; excellent principles well-stated. Rene is young and inexperienced. I think he has the potential to be an asset to the hobby; I hope he (you, Rene, if you're reading this) takes your comments to heart, recognizes the value of what you have said and acts accordingly. A good reputation is hard-earned and easily lost; I hope Rene has not done permanent damage to his.

On the other hand, I think you can ignore the advice about sending a copy to the occupant of the White House. He wouldn't understand it. And, even if he didn't, he certainly wouldn't act on it.
