I'm shocked! I used to read every message that was posted on the board, but in the last year or two, I have been unable to do that. I am now only able to read about half of them. I always read your posts. I used to collect ashtrays, but gave it up a while back. I do however LOVE to see your posts with those great old ashtrays, some from places I have never even heard of.

Anyone who tells you that this board is only for posting about chips is dead wrong. This board is for people with common interests to get together, share information and photos and have a good time doing it. Not only are your posts welcome, they are a VALUABLE part of what makes this board work.

A couple months ago I got a phone call from someone who would not identify himself. He wanted to know what I was going to do about all the people that posted messages about things other than chips. I told him that I wasn't going to do anything about it, that if he didn't want to read those messages, then just skip over them. I haven't heard from him since.

If you will take a look at the long line of replies to your post, I think you will see that the really "big dogs" of this hobby want you to stick around. Don't let a couple "back seat drivers" run you off.
